What makes Thrifted Bakery different
Thrifted Bakery is a Latina-owned home-bakery founded by Jessica Lynn Barrios. Jessica is a computer science major who combined her passion for technology and love for baking to create this site and grow her business. She is saving up for her graduate studies at LMU while also job hunting for her dream career in software engineering!
Jessica hopes to open her own cafe and bakery, where good coffee and delicious sweet treats can help students and workers power through tough study and work sessions.
As a first-generation college student, she comes from a line of hard workers who sacrificed their own dreams to help her get where she is today. Her long-term dream is to build a family-run business that brings people together through food, creativity, and community.
